Patrick F. Danley
Our Founder and CEO
Patrick F. Danley is the Founder/CEO of Beyond the Conviction. He designed this employment and life
advocacy program to provide services to the At Risk Job Seeker population. Beyond The Conviction is a tool
to help reduce and remove career and life barriers commonly faced by At Risk Job Seekers.
Despite being an At Risk Job Seeker who was on probation, being incarcerated, and fathering four
children, Mr. Danley focused his energies towards becoming more positive and poised. Even while experiencing
child support issues and credit challenges, he applied his energies towards graduating from Lincoln
University of Missouri with a B.S. Liberal Studies, with a emphasis in Business Management, Social Work and
Psychology. He is a Certified Associate of Project Management and he is completing his M.A. in Career
Guidance and Counseling.
Having a criminal record has served as both a hindrance and a blessing in his entrepreneurial ventures.
Education and ambition have created a career passage in the workforce and social service sectors for Mr. Danley
which has allowed him to secure positions with the following companies: Rape Crisis Center, IAM CARES, Goodwill
Vocational Services, Full Employment Council, and Catholic Charities. He continues to be an advocate for
ex-offenders by serving on various committees, doing consultation, and conducting speaking engagements.
Furthermore, he continues to network with community and faith based agencies, churches, workforce development
staff, elected officials, and public/private sector business owners within the Kansas City vicinity.
His life passion and effort is to show the masses that the same efforts and energies you apply
to the criminal realm, if used in a legal business or work setting, one can attain greater rewards.
